Wood chips and P.Cubensis??

How well would PC grow on woodchips?? I have never really seen this questions anywhere. Would you use the chips as a bulk substrate like hay?

i did it by mistake (se my post of this august "azures/east. l.i."). i was trying to grow azures outdoors, and my bed got contaminated with cubensis i had a first flush and then the slugs attacked. as you will see if you locate my old post, the fruits were quite large and healthy looking. however, i do think it's an efficient substrate for cubensis.
