Revere Pressure Cooker

Hi there,

anyone ever use a revere digital electric pressure cooker?

It is self contained, so you don't need to use the stove, however it is quite small. It can fit 4 half pint jars or 1 quart jar (sideways)

My problem is that it doesnt have pressure readings. Only high and low.  I have assumed in the past that high is 15psi, and got good results. However, lately i have been having a rash of contams and was curious if anyone has any information on this pressure cooker so i could rule it out as a source of contamination.

you sure its a pressure cooker and not a crock pot?? if it is a pressure cooker, just leave it so you can barely see any steam coming out and is making a littel bit of noise. and leave it cooking for about an hour. sorry....not much help.

It is a pressure cooker, for sure. Says so all over it. I understand where you're comming from though, seeing as its a newbie question.

Like I said, it has two pressure options hi and low, which i always set at high. I know its working properly, but i'm not sure of the pressure rating for the settings.
