cool. good to know how to test it!
about bumping old threads, i never understood why it is so frowned upon (ive been on other boards as well, it seems to be the way of most of them) often the topic is laid out very well on old threads, often by people who i dont see posting these days. we wouldnt want thier wisdom to be lost among a thousand other threads. many threads degenerate into flame wars and bullshit sessions, and some contain very little useable or even relevent info.
*lol! this doesnt have anything to do with testing a cooker, i suppose.

Agreed, Over the past few days there have been a few different posts about
dangerous PC explosions and mishaps. If anyone can glean even the smallest
amount of PC safety and the general understanding of how they work, then it's worth a bump or two.
I can't imagine the sound and the shear force of an AA lid blowing off...
