New Years Resolution - no more Shroomery Bickering Forums for me

I've deleted the three bitching forums of the Shroomery off my displayed forums list.

They call it debating or whatever, but its just aggression, setting people up to get angry and gloating when they do. Enough of that passive aggressive hater crap.

Theres good people in all these forums but a bunch of really negative types are all over them and, to me, its not worth it messing with these forums any longer.

I expect no fanmail for this, I'm just fed up.

This is a big forum, you are going to get people who bitch out others in every damn thread they post in. coughplasmidcoughyagemancough

some people just don't have many positive things to say, and some do and say them with malice.

Why not?

I, for one, applaud such wisdom.  Surely there are better things to do with one's time than argue with fools on an internet forum.

I stay the fuck out of PD and S&P, not because I don't like debate but because I get WAY to tangled up in it. 
I just want to much for people to quit being idiots and stop bull shitting themselves, I just want them to GET IT.
But for the majority that inhabit those forums, they never will.  Lost cause.

Sure, when I do engage my contribution is often welcome, but I just don't have the goddamn time.  I have other forums here that deal with science (a much less fluid concept!) which I devote my time to.

So I can't blame you there, even though our motivations may differ.

As far as OTD.........  Well, I like going in there because it doesn't matter what I say.  I don't care, and often don't mean it.  Nothing really matters in OTD.
