Tolerance sucks? I've always thought it was cool how our bodies can adapt to anything that's thrown at it

Actually tolerance to mushrooms disappears after 7 to 10 days.Tolerance is what keeps everyone sane. If you were to do mushrooms more than once a week, the importance of the trip would diminish, and it would become more of a habit than an experience. Furthermore, if you really enjoy mushrooms trips and were incapable of developing any tolerance to psilocybin, you'd be likely to trip on mushrooms as often as you can, making your life more of a trip than an adventure. ------------------

If you feel the need to trip more than once every couple of weeks then you are not giving the shroom the respect it deserves and are crossing the line between drug use and drug abuse. Just my worthless opinion though.------------------

I'm actually glad for tolerance, it keeps me from tripping too often. I smoke too often and sometimes regret starting, because I don't even enjoy getting high a lot of the time. I wouldn't ever want to have those feelings about these beautiful mushrooms.

Fruitbody: I used to smoke with two of my friends nearly an ounce a day, but after I got arrested, I just quit. It was probably the hardest thing that I've ever done. I am now taking it easy with drugs, and only doing them every once and a while. When you move from recreational or experimental drug use to habitual drug use, that's not a good thing. I only wish I'd learned that sooner.------------------

i must agree with toothbrush.
i myself never moved from recreational drug use over the line to habitual. but i got to the line. i walked up to the line just close enough to see what habitual drug use really is and guess what....it isn't FUN at all. it so quickly becomes about nothing but getting "high" and you aren't really high at all, because you forget what its like to be completely grounded. you are just trying to soothe and appease all the problems that never go away because you've built a wall between yourself and the real world. now, before i get too pink-floydian i will stop... but you should never start to take for granted the time you spend high or you lose all your priorities...like people, and love and enjoying being alive
