Cassette Tapes, Big Muff, and is music mind-altering?

I want to make my friend a mixtape on a cassette tape, but I'm not so sure they sell those anymore. Do they? Where would I obtain one?

The following question is for someone who own the Big Muff guitar pedal. How do I open the battery compartment to change the battery?

yes, music is very mind-altering for me. if it were considered a drug, in which it does act as one for myself personally, it would definitely be my favorite.
