mint compost

ever use any? (it's what's left after harvesting mint, i guess)
it's reeeeeaaaaaaally cheap.
also, are those cotton pads for cleaning make-up any good for filter patches? anybody? i cant seem to find NON-cotton ones, but they look mighty useful, even if they are cotton....
lastly, has anybody ever used vaccuum cleaner bags, all cut up, for filters on jars?
they seem to be designed to let air thru, but very few particles (the good ones, at least....)
i dont expect anybody has done any of these things, but i had to ask.

Mint compost can be used. I think Joshua has used it before and has some pictures...do a search

Mint compost has been used. I don't know the results. I think Joshua did some -- once. Do a search.

In a pinch, high quality hepa type vaccum bags have been cut up & used as jar filter material & worked. That, I do know. Tyvk is easy to find. Why not use that. It is a proven material.

Those are the posts I could find. I suggest washing the compost well to get rid of the particulate matter. Otherwise, prepare as dung. I will do a new log just for you, what strain would you like me to use?
