There is not one peice of land in the states that isn't private or gov't property. We originally lived naked and foraged food...... Why is it so wrong to do this now? It is impossible to do, yet I feel it's a basic right as a human. Something is wrong here
It's not wrong, it's just a difficult and brutal way to live, that's why people don't do it anymore. Finding enough food to live on, day in day out, is actually really hard.
We now have systems in place to keep naked hippies from stealing food from our land. Most of us see this as an improvement. Land ownership provides security and greatly reduces disputes between two parties who want the same resources. How would you like it if another naked hippie clubbed you to death because he wants your berries? Wouldn't you rather live in a system where you have protected rights?
And no, hunting and gathering in the wild is NOT a right of any kind. It was always a privilege; only a society can grant rights.
