Casing Humidity

So.. the FAQ says casings should be fruited at 85-92% humidity. What problems are there with fruiting at 100% humidity? The shrooms dont look wet and are doing well, but i'm sure it's 100% humidity in there.

I'm not sure if there's a problem with 100%, its just not needed since the casing provides humidity to your mycelium.

Excessive moisture in the casing layer can (but will not necessarily) decrease the number of pinheads that form, and decrease the number of pinheads which reach maturity after forming. This means, more aborts and lower yield than you could have had at the proper humidity.

I would imagine (I'm not sure if this is true) that humidifying casings at 100% may increase the chances for contamination slightly as well.

Cubensis is a pretty hearty species though, so it probably isn't that big of a deal.
