casing humidity, better or worse?
    #506257 - 12/31/01 10:11 PM (22 years, 2 months ago)

If my friend has a casing in the humidity range somewhere over 95% (the gauge just reads hi after 95%), and it is pinning massively and slowly growing into fatties, should he move the casing into a chamber that is 75 degrees and 85% humidity (as is recommended for casings), which one in ur honest opinion will be better?!? Thanks so much, happy new year everyone!!!

i'm new to this to, and i was wondering this same thing, but my logic was that you just needed the humidity drop to initiate pinning and then the higher the humidity the better because that is 90 percent of the shroom when its growing, am i an idiot?

So, what happens if u have a casing fulll of pins and the temp is right but the humidity is too high?!?! will they still grow only slower or what? My friend has noticed that they aren't growing that fast in the casing, but has noticed they are kinda becoming fatter and filling out......
