just saw max payne today...

and i have to say i'm pretty pleased.
i really enjoyed it.

i played the game when ps2 was big or whenever it came out i can't remember but i never really got into it.. i just ran around mindlessly killing people until the end, never really following the plot.. so i don't know if the plots consistent or not but the movie was pretty badass.

anyone else catch this movie?



bout to go to see quarantine, heard some bad things but whatever.
i enjoy most anything :yesnod:

I was a huge fan of the Max Payne games but I heard most of the reviews for the movie bombed..

I saw the movie.  I didn't think it was that good.. it wasn't terrible, it wasn't great.

There wasn't many action scenes.  The game was full of action... bummer.

if you think max paynes ending was abrupt don't see quarantine.

entertaining but nothing special.
the camera view is just like Cloverfield..

theres no real back story. just starts up in movie.. slow to start too.

Max payne was dope because of how loud it got.. and there was some nice graphics on those valkyrie things. it was also slow to start and i was confused up until seconds before the action started, which is when i thought "this is fucking dope"

i almost didnt like it from not understanding until like 30 mins in. plus that girl from that 70s show was in it and was all i could think of when she came on screen lol. i'm glad i saw it in theatres tho there were some scenes DEF made for it.. like 300, way better in theatre cause of the sound system.

felt that shit in my gut.

i don't feel as bad spending 7.50 on that than 10.25 on quarantine.
