What pills do you think Max Payne takes?

I know he purportedly takes painkillers, as that's the gag, but his behaviour and slo-mo-ability on them makes me suspect that it's rather benzos which he takes.Painkillers would just pass him out. That slo-mo stuff is totally benzo power, imo. What you do you think? Is it Xanax? Kpins? Something else?


Also, which gun do you think goes best with benzos?????

In all seriousness though, I've only experienced slow-time on LSD and high doses of adrenaline. Benzos and opiates make time go by faster but slow reaction time, if anything. Some painkillers are quite good at giving a boost of energy on top of pain relief; not all of them act like morphine or heroin (at least the initial onset and some short time afterward).

But on painkillers his aim would likely become sloppy and his movement drowsy. I think if he were instead on anti-anxiety meds he'd do a lot of the shit that he does and not think twice about it. They shoulda done more research into what type of drugs he shoots everybody while on. Plus, think of the missed pharmaceutical marketing opportunities.
