Animal quarantine when moving countires

In 1 year i will be migrating to Canada or New Zealand, havent decided yet... but i want to get a dog NOW. Will there be a problem like placing the animal in quarantine when i arrive? I hear quarantine in thise countires is a bitch. Is there anyway to get aorund it?? Or i should wait before i get a dog until im there?

Taking ANY animal to NZ is going to be extreeeeeeeeemly hard. Defintely a long ass quarantine as they don't have shit like rabies over there.

Wait until you get there.    Quarantine is very expensive and means the dog gets very little attention and no training for a long period of time.

Yea u probbly right..... i better wait, unless i feel like settling down somewhere in EU... you would like to think EU is anice place to live, but theres hardly any nature or forest here, its overpopulated, evythings dead (animals), very expensive :shrug:

if only i can find some forest in the hills or something... :rolleyes:

Dude, show me one decent unspoilt, with no name on it, piece of land with forests hills and lakes and rivers etc

So far the best i came up with is a nice little forest south of Bordeaux



and north east of spain:

The west coast of scotland.  A lot of spain.  the black forrest in germany.  Europe is in general very green and lush.  have you been there or are you basing these opinions on google earth pics?

Yea man ive been in holland, swizzland, italy spain, UK france...

i think spain is probably t he best out of the bunch, spain and maybe cyprus??

Cyprus joined the EU in 2004. Thereis a good nighlife there, good very good weather, sea... chicks... no forest but lots of other things... Aya Napa??/

I donno i want somewhere with forest and nice 4 season weather :shrug:
