This is gonna be a great challenge for the human race, and I really hope we look to solve it more creatively then rioting and looting, which will destroy or displace most of whats left of a real chance for an economy. Our life-styles might drastically have to change but that doesn't necessarily mean the quality of our lives will go down.

its hard to not loot and steal when you live in a large city and scarce food supplies. especially those who have no idea how to live off of the land.

It's not like you guys know how to live off the land either.

Unless you can blah blah blah I won't get into it, but you better be pretty fucking good if you want to live outdoors. Honestly I can't. I have an idea from months of studying and reading survival books, but at this point I would rather live off of my other skills than assume I could hack it in the wild.

if u have a flint know how to build a shelter and have a gun can make a trap and can make bad water good u can hack it in the woods easier than in the city were u'll have fed. storm troopers and thieves

just because you cannot doesnt mean many others cant. i for one am 100% certain i can live indefinately off of the land. i have plenty of practice, my knowledge base of wild edibles is always growing, i know how to hunt, trap, farm, build basic tools, build shelter ranging from basic to log cabin. granted i have not built a log cabin, i know how to. i can make water potable and even taste good.

so yes, i do in fact know how to live off of the land. and i certainly could if i were forced to.

If you've built a fire with flint, and WITHOUT FLINT in the sun, wind, cold rain, and/or snow, have made multiple shelters withstand harsh weather, can catch food with or WITHOUT A GUN, have made several tens of traps which have killed several tens of small nasty animals which you have eaten, and can collect water 5 different ways you might survive.

why would u be with out ur flint?in that case u need some ceder trees and a string ive eatn alot of squirles none i traped i always got oppossums in my traps wich i own and are small and light
i made shelters in the woods all the time when i was a kid that lasted years although i did go back in them from fear of snakes
and i can get clean water 4 ways

well i have about 10 magnesium sticks with flint, they make things alot easier, but not needed. i can start a fire in like 10-15 mins without one.
