I just need three things. MREs, ammo and a water purifier all on credit card so I don't have to pay for it. Nobody will want cash anyway.

well were going to keep some out of the bank in case.  im sure there will be stores that will still accept cash for goods for a while.  if i need it, ill have it.  bet your ass that ill be stocking up with more tangible items.

me and the fiancee have several thousand in available credit, if shit starts going downhill quickly, im going to go out shopping and snag up whatever i can. hopefully i can forsee it before its too late to use it.

See, i thought about taking my money out but i live in the middle of detroit, im fucked if i have a ton of $$ at the crib and someone breaks in. Ive looked at some safes and shit for my drugs/guns/money, and i dont believe there is one that is worth while to keep my shit safe at a reasonable cost and there not be a way for a thief to pick it up and wheel it out of my place.

Once i get to BFE i will be self sufficient, if not comfortable even. Im stocking up on shit that i wont be able to get such as fine cigars, mj, and first aid supplies. I should also get a well dug at the property, but there is a lake right there and i have no problem boiling and drinking that water, its clean as fuck. Food is easy out there, even in the winter.

Anyways, shit isnt so bad people. Were talking about money here, not your ass. If you have good ideas for the worst case you can feel a little better i suppose, but i see no impending doom. We have pulled together through long depressions and devalued currency before. its ugly, but we didnt fall apart before and we wont this time either.
