The first one is a Lepiota of some sort. You need to get a spore print (green is bad, white is good). Also, cut one of them in half vertically and watch for color changes in the cap and stem (they may be different). Could you tell us how large they are?

The second one look like an Agaricus. Cut one in half vertically and bruise the inside near the base of the stem with your knife edge, then watch for color changes for a few minutes. We also need to know about the odor (check at the base of the stem and where the cap and stem attach). Agaricus are very difficult, but we'll take a shot at it when you get us your response.

The last one looks like, as you said, a puffball. Cut it in half vertically and make sure it is white and solid all the way through and that the skin is not thick, tough, and rindlike. Also, verify that it is not a mushroom button inside (I don't think so, but you need to cut it anyway). Finally, color changes of any sort are bad. We won't be able to identify them to species (they have to be all the way ripe to do that), but the things I specified here will let you verify that it is edible.

For a web cam, pretty good pics. At least they are in focus.

Happy mushrooming!

1st pic.. sporeprint for the first one comes out white.. Cut vertically iv'e been waiting for about 30 mins and no color change.. Stems r about 6 to 7 inches long and the caps r about 4 to 6 inches.

2nd pic..sporeprint is a dark brown.. Same as above for cutting...no change in color,...Stems r about 2 to 3 inches, and caps range from 3 to 4 inches.

3rd.. Puffballs cut in half revieled the white skin is just some sort of skin..They were dark brown inside, kinda mushy like substance... hope this can be some help

The first one is Lepiota procera, a choice edible. Verify that the flesh inside the mushroom remained white. If so, those are good eating!

The second one resembles Agaricus campestris which is also a very good mushroom to eat. You didn't mention odor - did it not have a distinctive odor? In particular with Agaricus you want to verify that it does not bruise yellowish and does not smell like phenol, library paste, or metallic.

The last one is too ripe to eat. The brown is the color of mature spores. It is a member of the genus Lycoperdon, but we won't be able to ID to species.

Happy mushrooming!
