What are these needles called?

I got a really bad infection before and the doctor thought it was a good idea to stick a foot long needle in me to draw it out lol.

He had a syringe and the end of it would snap off to different lengths like every half inch.

I think they would work well for getting to the bottom of larger lc jars.

Anyone know what they are called?

Search for epidural needles. The are long but expensive...

You can also look up canula needles for some purposes.

or you can make your own foot long needles (or any length up to 18")  with some brass or copper tube stock.
found in hobby stores.

Lumber Puncture needles are long too.
