I've done a good deal of studying about the word logic in the days since this thread was started.

And...

I've come to a conclusion. By definition, logic is a very hazy word which most people can morph to mean whatever they want it to mean. Even in a philosophical context, logic has several meanings... in a computer programmer's context it has yet another. Then, scientists have their own way of looking at it. There are also, several definitions which would satisfy the theologists.

In general, logic requires validity... and the origin of logic means 'Reason' or 'The art of reasoning'.

Anyway, now I am going to post the definition... so y'all can see what I am talking about.
