long term effects of mushroom eating

I would like to know if anyone is very knowledgable about the effects of eating lots of mushrooms on your brain? I don't mean tripping every few months, but taking a number of large doses in a small amount of time...
I have read on erowid.org that there can be changes in your brain chemistry..but that seems like a very general concept.

Does anyone have any specific knowledge on this subject?

I would strongly suggest you visit www.heffter.org for your query. They offer reports and journals done by the faculty of the Heffter Research Institute for free (.PDF format). This would be a good start. I have read much about Dr. D. McKennas studies on ayahuasca from this site; I'm sure there is something on long term use of 4-HO-DMT there.

Also, if you should have no luck at Heffter, visit www.maps.org. This is another excellent site for reports and journals.

I feel after alot of shroom usage a newness to life appears everywhere. A spankin new shine and glimmer to everything.
