Long Term Effects Of Doing Mushrooms? Anyone Know?

I got my boyfriend doing them and now he seems to be replacing his weekly drinkin with the boys with shroomin with the boys. hes 20, he's done them 3 times ( the past 3 weekends in a row), he may keep doing them ever weekend, he may slow down, he was asking me if i knew the long term effects of them) i told him i didnt and that i'd see if i could find out. anyone know?

There is no type of long term affect except for a build up in resistance. If he is doing them three times a week then shortly they will simply stop working unless he takes larger and larger does each time. Although this is still safe as the ld50 is your own body wait in shrooms. The only realy danger is mis-identification of an psilocybin contaning mushroom other than that they are safe. I would even feed them to my own son if i had one.

Just kidding , the only long term problem is building up a tolerance , meaning he will have to eat more to get same sensations .

tripping frequently may not be neurotoxic but it can still have lasting mental effects that only wear off after not touching the stuff for a while. tell him he should respect mushrooms and learn moderation.

There are a range of experiences possible tho - you don't need to have a profound earth-shattering experience every week. It is possible to direct trips to some extent.
