My point being that if it bothers you enough to whine and complain, at least do it in a place where he has the chance to see your complaints and respond to you. You don't just spot a topic and formulate an opinion on the spot, it doesn't work that way. You carry your opinion, it develops over time, and these people choose to convey their opinions anonymously. Why? Refer to the post you quoted and didn't understand.

As you said, this isn't high school, who gives a shit if an opinion is "in plain sight" or not. If this were high school that might count for something, doubtful, but it isn't and it counts for absolutely nothing. You care far too much about these people who voiced passing opinions (simply because the thread topic was already made) to be calling anyone ridiculous.
