the netherlands and the future of spore suppliers

i have always thought that the spore suppliers get their prints from growers in the netherlands. how will these suppliers continue to be able to supply people on a large scale without a legal place to cultivate?

should i stock up now?

There are still countries that allow mushroom production. I *think* one of the suppliers gets theirs from Jamaica but I could be wrong.

And they can buy them from anywhere. It is just as legal for them to buy spores as it is for them to sell them. They don't have to prove where they got them from as long as they aren't producing them themselves.

Check your state/local/country laws.

Some only say the preservation of psilocybin tissue, mycelium, mushrooms are illegal to possess.

They would have to prove someone was growing them, if your just supplying prints they would need a document from someone where it is legal to grow so that the supplier could show any law enforcement agency that the prints were obtained through a source in a country were cultivation of active mushrooms is permitted.

Never fear, shroomery vendors will always be around.

Actually no they wouldn't need to prove they came from a country in which it was legal to grow them. The burden of proof would be on the government to show that a spore supplier was growing them, not the other way around. if the spore supplier is buying them from anywhere they are fine, whether it is legal to grow them there or not, they just can't grow them themselves, that is where PF messed up.

It is illegal to manufactor alcohol (anything that requires distillation anyway) but it is legal to possess moonshine, you don't have to prove where it came from. It is illegal to grow hemp in the US but legal to possess, doesn't matter where it came from if you didn't grow it.

True, I hadn't considered that. However, thats what trading is for. I also suspect most people are too lazy to create their own spore syringes.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm sure there is some country like Jamaica where you'd be able to get them from.

I think we need a vender to comment on this.

The thing is, sure, the people selling the spores to individuals and that is legal, and they would not be taking a huge risk. But the kind of mass production to sufficiently supply the demand without gouging the price would be too risky for anyone to want to get in to. All it would take would be a brief investigation by the DEA and the source of the spores would be fucked.

yeah thats what i'm thinking. if spore prices rise rapidly, alot less people are going to get into mycology, and the cost of trading for prints is going to go up alot...

just wondering if thats a realistic fear.
