Man seriously I want to try it for several reasons, my health 1 and life 2 and I do like my cigerettes and enjoy the act of smoking 3, DUH thats why I havent quit. SO this thing gives me a healthy way to still enjoy nicotine 4, and if it does taste and feel similar to a cigerettes then that just gives another reason to try it 5. Plus even another reason is, look at how cheap the refills are and how many flavors it comes in 6. Your bound to like at least a few. 5 refills is a cartons equivilent and is 3-4 bucks if I added right. Its close anyway. I dont know I aint plugging it because I too want to test drive it first, but I am going to try it and get one and if I dont like it I will defect it and return it if they aint got a return policy. I am checking on that now because this thing if fucking bitchin'

Great thread! I had no idea this type of stuff existed. I've been trying to quit for years now, but I always come back to the oral fixation. Maybe this type of device would help me break that habit.

I do great with the nicotine gum until I start thinking about the act of smoking. Perhaps this vapor will change that mindset. Man I'm such an addict! :smirk:

I have a question for folks using the eCig. When you have your first smoke of the day, do you still get that buzz you get from going so long without nicotine? I always get a nice little head rush when I smoke in the morning. I guess you can say I look forward to it.

That's the addict talking. I just need one more fix.

I'm actually considering buying this.

I've tried quitting so many times, but it's that oral/psychological fix that always pulls me back.

I'm going to try to make it through the day tomorrow only using this thing and not smoking any actual cigs and see how it compares, I usually smoke a pack a day. I'll let you all know how it goes. Has anyone else heard of/tried such a thing?

Id like to see how this goes.

Propylene glycol, AKA "liquid smoke".

Well, it seems to be working pretty well so far. My first try I didn't let the battery charge long enough, so it was very difficult to get a good hit. But with a fully charged battery it was going great. Still trying to work out the kinks and figure out the best way to use it, seems a little touchy at times. Sometimes I'll have to suck super hard to get it going, I believe it's all a battery issue of some sort....I'ts difficult to tell when to change the cartridge or battery. I went all day (ten hours) today on one battery and two cartridges, it's still going pretty strong but I'm thinking it might need a fresh charge soon. I only changed the cartridge because I had been chewing on the tip and wanted to let my buddy try it with a clean mouthpiece. I originally wasn't getting the nicotine rush I was looking for, but I found if you hold it in longer it works much much better.

When I seen this thread I forgot I ordered these things about a week ago and they came in today.

http://www.nicout.com/

I just smoked a cheap cig with it and id say they work really damn good. You can feel these cheap ones kill you when you hit them and with this thing its ALOT lighter on your lungs. Pretty cheap, you get 30 a pack (i got mine off ebay for 5 bucks shipped) and they last 5-10 cigs each.

I found a forum that has quite a bit of information on these:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/phpBB3/the-e-cigarette-f1.html

Already spoken with a few people on there via PM and they are very helpful. I went ahead and purchased the NJoy and some liquid nicotine. I'll give a report in a week or two when I get everything in and let you all know how this thing works.

Take care.

came with 2 batteries...though they're all fully charged i'm charging the other one as we speak for a few hours...

all i can say is, interesting! actually feels like smoking! don't have to suck in so hard on the mouth piece...

so far i've only tried the apple flavour, i have chocolate and turkish delight as well.

after about 6 puffs i'm good

Sounds cool. I bought one from e-cig.com. It didn't work, no smoke came out, so i don't recommend anyone gets one from there.

These are interesting also. I've used them and they don't make your hair fingers breath or clothes smell at all.

They make me really lightheaded also.

cigs are fucked up and i dont like em anymore...wont smoke em. only weed...that's also a good alternative. Make your cigarettes into joints. Wiggle out the filters and put in a good cardboard crutch, unravel the tobacco and dump in the weed, roll up the end, and you have a perfect marijuana cigarette. Looks just like a regular cig.

Chew does not contain fiberglass you dildo.
