500sqft mushroom "lab"

if you were setting up your dream mushroom "lab" how would you set it up?
i have seen a picture of a really nice setup on here with the flow hoods built into the wall etc...

what I had in mind so far was.. painting the cement floor and walls for easy cleanup.. getting a large industial hepa filter running in the lab/grow area.. installing a large sink.. getting a few counter tops to work on etc...

yea... its not illegal to grow mushrooms in my territorey... i would also be growing other types of mushrooms as well... I really liked your bulk neglect post.

i was thinking about just doing somthing like that.. just building a seperate room and bringing up the hymidity and temp abit in the room and just using boxes like yours...

no creative advice for building a room?

On a large scale you'll need to provide for air exchange, recirculation, and proper air currents to preven stagnant air pockets. Bulk neglect works because it's relatively open to a large buffer of fresh air.

Have you read TMC and GG&MM? fungi.com has TMC seconds on sale for $20 and is the best place to start if you're considering something like that.

Fifty bales of hay.

20 cubic yards of manure.

1 cubic yard of spawn from previous outdoor patch.

1 foreign country to set it up in.

I picked up the mushroom cultivator and another book called "psilocybin magic mushrooms growers guide" today at a local store... was very surprised they had them...

they said they just sold the copy of the gaurmet one.. but i think these should do..

also...

no creative tips or suggestions yet?
