It kinda makes me sad for you though. Grab your balls and just accept shit the way it is.

Life is a joyride and the GOP just wants to rule the world as they pass tax cuts that raise taxes on the poorest of citizens. The dems at least want their slaves to be healthy, you know, to get the most out of them.

For real man, why does everything have to be so polarizing? It just doesn't make sense. I keep trying, but I can't get it together man.

Come together, it's all we've got

I like free markets and all. Truly I do, at least in general, but there needs to be some kind of oversight in recognition of sustainability. Life works the same way, on a bunch of sustainable systems. Why not honor what made us what we are and take some lessons? Nature FTW!

I don't want slaves. I want you to help yourself and am willing to do what I can to further that. But I want YOU to be the main partner in that, which means YOU have to carry the heaviest part of the load for YOUR life. Stop whining and get to work. Or fuck off. Nothing I have was inherited except my genes and I haven't been particularly lucky.

Capitalism has created slaves. It's not an argument I'm willing to fight, it's just fact now. Credit, Federal Reserve, Income tax, we're all slaves for a select few.

I'm not whining at all, I just get sad when I see that people like you are who holds this country back from truly being the greatest country on earth. As long as we stand divided we fail to achieve the ideals this country was founded on. This isn't whining, it's the truth. I can't change you. You can't see beyond your own shortcomings. It's too much for you to believe a black man loves his country so much that he actually wants to help all it's peoples, not just the wealthy campaign contributers like the GOP.

No crying here, more people are on my side this election year my friend.

You are so blind that you can't see that the wealthy have extended far too much charity and not enough tough love.

Barry is B-Rock.

Blind. No, when a CEO makes as much as the guy working the line does in a year, in one week, they aren't running ethical businesses. It's just true.

The best philosophical minds and a growing number of economists are predicting the end of capitalism within the next 100 years if this unethical treatment continues. Eventually the masses will realize they are greater than the few and rise up in a great rebellion and things will change. Read some books, their good for the brain.

Absolute nonsense.

And a comfortable way to avoid personal responsibility as well.

I wouldn't be in college if I had no personal responsibility.

I never understand how some people around here are so okay with making assumptions through a computer screen. You know nothing of me. I'm pretty sure I convinced zappa I'm black today, jesus.

I'm not judging you by anything except the things that you say.

What else could I even judge you on? That doesn't even make any sense.

All I'm saying is that to say anyone in America is a slave to anyone else is stupid. Everyone is born into different circumstances, but there is absolutely nothing that is preventing anyone from doing anything they want DESPITE those circumstances.

I'm a college graduate myself. Guess what? My parents weren't. They didn't give me money to go to school, I worked the whole time. Not a cushy job. A shitty job. It fucking sucked.

You know who helped me? Me!

Your arguments are silly.

Credit makes us slaves? I use credit responsibly and am a huge fan of it. Credit allows me to purchase things that I cannot afford to buy at once, and pay for this thing in smaller payments. This is a useful service, otherwise people would not use it. If you make poor decisions and obtain lines of credit you cannot pay for, you may suffer from those decisions. But that is your fault. Blame yourself, not the credit industry.

Income taxes make us slaves? I enjoy many of the things that my income tax pays for on a daily basis. I like being able to drive on a road to work. I like knowing the foods I eat are inspected and reasonably safe. Libraries are nice, parks too. These services do not magically appear from Shangri-La. They are paid for with your tax money. So no, I'm not a slave to the income tax man.

That was incredibly short sighted. All you can see is what's before you. Take a look at the bigger picture. BTW, I was refering to your "avoid personal responsibility" comment, which, was in response to me, hence me taking it personally.

Credit might not seem so bad to you. It's not to bad for me either. However, all credit is, is a way for banks to make money on the principal that we would rather pay more for it and have it now, than pay less for it and buy it later. The entire idea is unneccessay. If you don't have the money, work. It's pretty simple. If you will have the money, why use a credit card and raise the amount you pay just to have it sooner. Sometimes this is nice, but look at the average american. I don't know the stat, but I know it's at least $1000 in debt for evey household on the average. This makes you a slave to the bank. For what? Purchasing power you shouldn't have. Without that piece of plastic you only have the purchasing power that you truly have. When you get the card, now you have more, but undeservedly so. Then you use it, and the only person that benefits IN THE LONG RUN is the profiteering banks. WE ARE SLAVES TO THE BANKS. The entire system is designed to force us to use banks and it's been that way since we instituted the FEDERAL RESERVE BANK. They loan the money out, then interest is paid, then someone else loans the money out, then interest gets paid, etc. etc. It's just one big loop, where the american people are the losers.

I'm glad you use your credit wisely, but you probably do so because someone taught you the importance of using credit responsibly. But the average person doesn't have that education, yet they still have credit. Hence the debt problem. It's not just in our economy, IT IS OUR ECONOMY. everyone is working to pay off debt, whether it be personal or our collective national debt. And it all goes to the same place, the banks.

Income tax makes you a slave as well, just in a different way. How can I protest the war in Iraq if every paycheck I'm paying for it. If we had the Fair Tax, the national sales tax, I could oppose anything our government did by not funding it. Income tax makes you slaves to others ideas that you don't necessarily agree with.

Now tell me to be more politically acitve and to quit whining. That's exactly what has worked for so long, being politically active. Wrong. How long has NORML been doing good work inside the political system? o0o almost 40 years, yet no change even when science is by far on their side as well as every single congressional study done on the prohibition of marijuana. Yep I'll gladly just STFU and work the system from the inside and get let down, over and over.

That's why B-Rock is my man. I truly believe he's running because this shit has to change. He see's this shit the way I see it, as SHIT.

I'm glad you worked hard to get where you are madtown, I worked my ass of too. I'd still be in the streets if I hadn't gotten my shit together, and it wasn't easy. But I can tell you that the really good teachers I had in school helped me have the ability to be what I am now, as do my family and friends. If I had grown up as a black kid in Detroit, with their shitty ass schools and the types of influences around me that they have, I'd still be on the streets.

Yes, some of this is individual responsibility, but a lot of it can be traced back to the injustices of slavery and segregation. This shit needs to change too, and I agree to an extent with what Obama's pastor has said. He's a little off his rocker, but he's not too far from reality.

This is the greatest country there is, but we stopped being great long ago, when our reality drifted away from our ideals...
