Perhaps it has been too long since my first journeys, but I do not remember any profound effects or paradigm shifts.

That is not to say that I remained unaffected as I would be by any powerful experience, but I don't recall being overwhelmed by cosmic questions nor having my model of reality being shattered and put back together.

I know you saw my breakthrough thread, and DMT definitely has a way of knocking you lightyears away from reality as you know it. I felt one with the universe and truly did have to reconstruct my normal identified reality at the end.

I had my first hard trip at the age of 17. it was pretty fucking cathartic, IMO.

did they even have drugs back when you were 17 Orgone? wasnt prohibition going on then? Lawl

For my first 20 or so trips i was just doing for this is some trippy weird shit, i didnt even get hallucenations it was weird.

Then i thought one day hey itd be fun to read some buddhism and get me prepped for the trip, see how it influenced it, ever since then my use of psychedelics for "fun" has diminished, i still do it for fun, but i cant trip and NOT meditate now, even just stretching (asanas) when tripping are so good as you get full on body rushes not just mental/visual things....

I think some people get mystic experiences some people just enjoy tripping, theres no right or wrong, people are different :shrug:

Maybe try doing 7grams? :grin:

Im sure even though you dont have these mystical experiences you still come away with something constructive?
Every time i trip i feel ive grown, i mena we all grow all the time, but when tripping/after i FEEL the growth...

Im on a no tripping til summer at the moment, then its an all out freak fest!
