Difference between Coco Choir and Coco Soft...

Well is there a difference? between coco choir and coco soft? is the soft just already broken up choir? anyone shed some light on this?

I believe coco soft is coco fiber. Check it for long strands. Coco coir is fluffy and I've only seen it come in compact blocks that you have to add water to. People say not to use the fiber as a substrate.

Yeah, It's not the fiber. Defo not stringy I have seen the fiber... It's almost the texture of the Choir but, not quite. It is not as "powdery" as the broken Choir brick but, fluffy like a bedding for a reptile. So, yeah I don't know lol

From your description it sounds fine. Get the water content right and pasteurize it.

Yeah after the coco choir broke up some of the members re-formed into coco soft. Tragic really.
