First Album - Queen - Greatest Hits

First show - Lynyrd Skynyrd with my mom and bro... weed cloud was so huge it made it a little awkward between my mom and us. It was sick though... even with the original singer's brother singing - sounded identical.

First concert that I wanted to go to was Bush with Veruca Salt opening.

First concert Julian Cope, his 20 Mothers tour.

First album was probably Every Breath You Take - The Police's Greatest Hits.

My first show was a punk show at this little hole in the wall that hosted acts as good as Fugazi and Propaghandi called Tuxedo Junction. The bands that played were Nail, Element, and Mask of God. Nail made a good name for themselves in Birmingham playing great, hardcore shows all over town.

My 1st bigger 'concert' was when Primus opened up for Anthrax and Public Enemy. That was a really great eye opening experience for me.

I really can't recall what my 1st album to buy was, but the 1st album that was given to me was Vital Idol by Billy Idol. Follwed closely behind by RunDMC-Raising Hell.

My parents are musicians so I went to a LOT of shows when I was little... one of my first memories is of being about 3 years old sitting in an empty concert hall at a dress rehearsal for 'Tosca' being bored out of my skull.

Th first non-classical concert I remember would probably be the Dixie Chicks in '98 or '99. I got my first album, The Beatles' Abbey Road about the same time.

Don't judge me too hard, I was only 9.

first concert: Butthole Surfers / Toadies / Reverend Horton Heat. won the tickets from a radio station. shortly thereafter, lollapalooza 1997 where i would first begin my love affair with Tool. Those tickets were also from a radio station giveaway.

i have exceptional luck concerning these things.

first album, cereal killer by green jellÿ. it was actually one of a five cd purchace, but that's why i went in the first place.

my school won some radio contest and taking back sunday came through

people were startin mosh pits and gettin thrown out while the kids being dragged away provided a distraction for more people to start, leavin takin back sunday like "Wha!:D" they apparently werent used to that sort of thing, but the kids from the secondary school were their so they pretty much were in charge of that(gangsta kids ftw)

i opted to sit on the sidelines, a punch to the face or a kick to the chest isnt my cup of tea and my pallet expander was an excuse anyway:smirk:

my first albumn was actually a limp bizkit cd:tongue: "eat you alive" it has some pretty good tracks surpirsingly lookin back

but my first album ever (cassette) was Pet Sounds by the beach Boys

first real concert was The Presidents of the United States of America in Ybor city back in the mid 90's.

thats funny.... i think the first non-pop music I listened to as a wee lad was a very obscure EP by the butthole surfers called "Hairway to Steaven"
