You have some totally excellent L8 60's early 70's guitar albums there. You're in for a real treat(if you love guitar) with live Rory Gallagher, Johnny Winter And(with rick derringer)....check out the bizarre stereo FX on One way or another by Cactus on headphones.....recorded at Electric Ladyland studios..... counting the various compilations i have around 50 of the albums on your list

I thought you would enjoy this post, Freak!
I'm so excited about all the new albums I have to listen to... I have been enjoying myself thoroughly these past couple days!!! It's strange b/c I am actually listening to One Way Or Another by Cactus right now--no headphones, though. I will have to try that later!
Anyway, can you make some recomendations for some other good albums that I should look for at the the record store? I definitely need to get some Pink Floyd and Jefferson Airplane, but I'm not sure on what else to get. Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated!
Peace,
RebelSteve

Yeah, lol, i noticed a definite absence of psychedlia like the Floyd, Airplane and dead etc.....wgaf though man? You got a LOT of power there, i turned 16 at an outdoor festival in 1970 with Mountain, ten years after, grand funk, cactus, jethro tull all playing on the same bil($15 for three days but i snuck in through a hole in the fence )l.....got to see wishbone ash L8er on, i still wonder what Pat Benetar and Duran were doing there but other than that, you have inherited the L8 60's/early 70's motherlode my friend

Haha... Actually, the Pat Benatar and Duran Duran came from my mother... I know she's got a box or two of better albums, but she was only willing to part with those and a couple others for right now. She still has dreams of buying a new record player and returning to the record-listening days of her youth I guess!
I have inherited a great collection, and I couldn't be happier! Now I've just got to start adding to it and make it even better! What are some of your favorite albums that I am lacking? I'm fairly sure that our musical tastes are very similar, so I would appreciate any recommendations you could make!
Peace,
RebelSteve
