I tend to enjoy this rap the best. 2 great tracks:
E-40 - record haters
Outkast and goody mob- sky high
Master P- Make crack like this
Any Suggestions from you rap buffs?

I prefer mid 80's. NWA and all that. Dr. Dre. E Z E, and all that. I went to a summer camp about 8 yrs ago, and that's what they listened to.

Bushwick Bill and the Geto Boys were my favorites. I have something I can recommend though: a compilation called "Celestial Squadron" on Celestial Records (I believe). It's futuristic and campy. My favorite cut is by Aceyalone and Self Jupiter --"When The Sun Took A Day Off and the Moon Stood Stll".

listen to some TECH N9NE, he is here from Kansas City, and his flows are awsome, pretty much the only rap I listen to anymore. If you have a decent connection, get my ICQ or AIM in my profile and I will send it to you, cause his shit is prolly hard to find.

what you stated above is southern rap/hiphop to me. The mid to late 90's was like gangstarr, krs one, craig mack, lost boyz, healtah skeltah, and stuff like that
