where to download music, tv

Hey everybody,
I just got high speed internet and would like to download music and TV shows but I'm not sure where to start. I know theres free sites out there I just dont know which ones are good. I'm looking for a website that I could download south park,old NFL games and music off of.

Torrents are definitely the way to go. Do you have any experience with torrents? If not, read up about them and you can pretty much find anything you want at thepiratebay.org.

You will need a bit torrent client, I suggest utorrent, you can find it at www.utorrent.com you do need to set it up a lil; bit but once you get it going its well worth it.
and while your at it check this site out www.thepiratebay.org
I dont think you will have any luck finding old football games but you might.

You should look into BitTorrent. You need to download and install a BitTorrent client (µTorrent or Azureus, for example). Some good places to look for torrents are isoHunt, The Pirate Bay or mininova, but there are many more out there.

Another good program (particularly for downloading music) is Soulseek.

Download a program like Bittorrent, basically the most simple torrent program, and go to a website like thepiratebay.org. I don't use Bittorrent because it won't use some torrent files. I personally use Azureus.

You just search for the music you want and if it has at least one 'seeder,' download the .torrent file. And open it in the program and it will start to download.

You can download whole ablums in slightly more time than it takes to a single song in a program like Limewire. Plus you're less likely to get viruses.

Azureus is good but if you notice that it slows down your computer, I would try utorrent, it has most of the same features but it's alot easier on your resources.
