Whats SWIM?

I read alot of stuff related to drugs on the net where someone keeps saying SWIM does this, SWIW thought it was good, SWIM says he wants to.
etc

What exactly does it mean and why do they use it?

Yeah it stands for "Someone who isn't me." Personally I find it really annoying, and I doubt it has ever protected anybody from criminal charges. On the contrary, it is pretty much admitting you are willfully doing something illegal.
