Does this sound like food poisoning?

I've never had food poisoning that I can recall, but I just woke up with a very shitty feeling stomach, and puked up a bunch of really thick puke. And it definitely feels like I have a fever. I pooped soon after (a very interesting poop, but not diarreah).

I ate meat like 8 hours ago.

Based on your experience with food poisoning, will I be making into work three hours from now?

Could very well be food poisoning. Did you feel funny immediately after eating the meat? Does it feel better when you throw up and go to the bathroom?

It could very well be food poisoning or a stomach virus. From my experience, even compared to food poisoning a stomach virus is nasty. But that's subjective since there are different stomach viruses and different immune systems.

MAKE SURE YOU DRINK LOTS OF WATER (even if you don't want to). Thats how people end up in the hospital.

yeah, could be food poisoning, could be somthing else. regardless stay hydrated and if the condition persists, go see a doctor

I ended up calling in sick.  Didn't throw up any more, but I had a fever all day.  I just woke up for the day today, and I can't really tell yet if I am feelin bad.  Hope not, I have New Years to celebrate tonight!
