is it hard to catch flies where you are?

we have them all year round and in summer they catch us

im thinking bees would work better

Its nearly impossible to even swat a fly, let alone catch one!!!

I learnt that as a child but I spose it may depend, if theres lots of them it will be easier.

Its cold here so we only get the occasional fly.

i catch them mid air sometimes

once in china some emporer made it a law that everyone catch one fly each and they wiped out a fly epidemic they were having at the time

dont know if its true but i read it once

i was kind of an expert at catching them

you have to wait till theyre moving and cleaning themselves to swipe them mid air as they jump

when you 1st aproach them they drop low ready to fly but if you keep still they relax and forget you,your hand shadow spooks them too so you had to allow for sun position then when they started cleaning them self or sniffing around you swoop them with open hand and grab em midair

theyre also faster when theyr young

ive had flies land on me and let me pat them,fuck knows why,maybe they were dying
