 seeing maria in yerba maria(salvia)

a while ago i was reading this article on salvia divinorum trips a lot of people reported seeing a female surrounded by natural things if they did it while in a dark room (usually laying down on a bed). virgin mary was seen as mother nature so some and i think cathotlics? not sure which religion but one of them believed salvia to be a reincarnation of the virgin mary which is where the name yerba maria came from. could they be seeing the virgin mary? tell me what cha think.

fuck i need to try that, all my salvia trips are gettin melding to like tables and thing and gettin stuck, its really annoying actually....

atleast you felt something...i felt hardly nothing for 2 reasons...i was taking bong hits and ive never smoked before in my life. your supposed to hold it on for like 30 secs but i kept on coughing it up cuz its harsh so i hardly felt anything. i still have a few grams left that i plan on doing tommorow but i think id be better off doing extract...and secondly ive read its extremely hard to get the full effect off normal salvia. hm maybe i just got weak shit. i want some hawaiin baby wood rose =(
but yeah anyways yeah id recommend trying it in a dark room while relaxed...pitch dark i believe.

Smoking anything would be harsh if you don't smoke, personally salvia goes down very smooth for me, its probably one of the strangest experiences of my life, when someone is with you, tell them not to talk, usally you get very angry and start talking mad shit...but ive only tried 10x extract out of a steamroller, i've let several people try the extract and everyone of them tripped...

i was gonna get some 10x extra but that shit is expensive as a mofo. but yeah im pretty sure if anyone tried any amount theyd feel it unless maybe if they did a real small amount orally. im still contemplating on wheter to give salvia another try and order more of to try amanita muscarias...

I dont know about the virgin mary... but on my salvia experiences I have definetely felt a very strong presence, it seemed like a higher power of some kind. But the sex was anonymous.. it was more like an integrated male/female

salvia is so strange, i read so many trip reports on acid and when i took it i felt like i knew somewhat of what was going to happen, i did the same with salvia and it was nothing like i expected...so goddamn instense, i acutally kind of dislike it because of the "world" i usally go to, its just like earth but somehow diffrent, then a intense fear fills me and i start melding into things, and for some reason when its a table i cant get out...and the smell of salvia stays with me the whole trip and salvia smells horrible. and a couple weeks after i think i smell or taste salvia for no reason at all. most people ive seen when they try salvia for the first time they laugh like a mad man and are not able to stop.

yeah i know what your saying....it felt like i was on earth yet earth was different. the colors were the same but they seemed to have changed? or be acting differently. when i used it by chewing on it, it had to be the most bitter thing i have ever tasted. afterwards i kept on laughing at everything for some reason. one thing that sticks in my mind though is while i was on it i saw a skull on one of my friends faces. it was made out of the shadow from a building but it made a perfect skull. later on i find out he tried to commit suicide =\. luckily hes still alive but yeah it was interesting indeed. .lots of people take salvia expecting some sort of euraphasia(not sure on spelling) effect like some other entheogens and are suprised to feel no sort of happiness from the drug itself.

The female entity has been reported for thousands of years with salvia, they just started calling her the virgin mary to please the spanish who considered their original religion heathen and punishable by death.
