relationship between trich and myc

Now, I'm curious. What is the relationship between trich and myc. I have about a gallon of composted Hpoo that I sterilized about two weeks ago. I didn't use it because I decided to pasteurize. It has no green mold growing in it. I sterilized it so something should have taken hold by now. Does myc. cause some breakdown of the compost that allows trich to grow? Or is this just an unusual case? I'm just trying to get an understanding of things.

No, probably the case is that you don't have it in an environment where the trich can grow. The reason trich eats mush substrate so eagerly when we try yo fruit and grow and whatnot, is because they like the same food and the same conditions.

have you been fanning the sterile hpoo?
trich like acidic substrates and high temps

No, I just left it in the garage. It's in an aerated container, the kind I use to complete my compost. Rubbermaid tub with hundreds of holes drilled in it. I just forgot about it. I was going to reincorporate it into the compost. Just a curiousity I had, I read a post about trich rearing it's head on the third flush of his Hpoo, the post said it happens alot. I was just wondering about a relationship.

i think trich usually doesn't survive outdoors someone correct me if i'm wrong
all it really takes is a trich spore for trich to grow, and from what i've seen so far it grows on just about anything
i've not seen trich in cpoo yet to be honest, but i've seen quite a few times on rye seed casings

What is cpoo? Do you think Hpoo might have some sort of enzyme that wards off trich?

lol sorry, cpoo is cow poo which is what i use i think they're basically the same in the end though
anyway, i'm pretty sure hpoo doesn't contain any enzymes that ward off trich
usually hpoo has what is reffered to as beneficial bacteria that does help prevent contams and can even help "prep" the poo for the mycelium (ie. firefang)
as you sterilized the hpoo, it's likely that some sort of bacteria took over
trich isn't the only contam >.>

Yeah, I sure something is in there. I'm not worried about putting it back in the compost barrels though. It just struck me as odd I didn't see any trich after sterilizing and sitting that long.
