Large dose planned

I'm planning on tripping in the next day or two on a relatively high dose of LSD. I'm asking for thoughts and suggestions and things to watch out for. I've tripped on lsd many many times usually in the range of 200ug (it is my favorite after all :smile: )but never beyond 200-250ug. I've been preparing for the past few days for this upcoming trip mentally and also getting stuff together, cleaning stuff up, and making sure I have nothing left undone by the time I drop.

I'm thinking in the range of 300-500ug depending on how I feel tomorrow.

Basically what I would like to know is anything you think might be helpful for me to know before I drop. I've done a lot of reading, but I don't mind reading something twice so don't be afraid to give me whatever advice you personally have (no second hand info please). From what I read I expect it to be nothing like what I read and I hope that makes sense to some of you. I've been experimenting with lower doses (50-250ug) for about a year now and I've noticed how some of the effects at higher doses are rather emergent and leave no hint at all with lower doses so I do expect this to be unlike the doses I'm accustom to. I'm ranting and what not now, so wish me luck. I'll try to keep track of what I do throughout the trip for a good trip report but thats hit or miss on whether or not I feel like it on the trip or if I just plain forget at some point. Pretty much all I can offer is to do this in the evening,
when there's no bright sunlight around,
and after you have all your daytime requirements out of the way
(going to school, work, shopping, etc.).

Plan some warm music that's suitable to carry you along in your trip -
nothing hardcore like deathmetal or rap.

Preferably, do this with someone else you know well and who wants to trip along with you.
Avoid authorities and parents - encounters with such people while tripping is bad news.
Turn your cell phone off as to avoid any unexpected incoming calls.
Interruptions while tripping ruin it for me, so it may for you as well.

Tell yourself that you have been invited by the spirits to be led
into an excursion of the mind, and that this is not something you want to fight off.

Your mission is to relax, go with the flow, and no matter what happens,
this is a necessary learning experience that you should embrace.

Negative thoughts are not permitted during the trip at any time.
Any such negativity should be immediately discarded and ignored.
This includes fear and anxiety. They have no place in this trip.

Remember - this experience is something that you want.
The stronger it becomes, the more pleased the spirits are with your performance.
They want to invite you to a higher level.
Why refuse to go along with this? You want to go as far as they will let you.

If at any time you feel this getting too strong, just keep reminding yourself that
you will soon be coming down, and that full recovery is imminent.
You haven't had mental instabilities in previous trips, so why would this occur this time around?

Be in a positive, happy mood at the time you start this,
and everything should run smoothly.

write a reminder on your arm with sharpie, last large dose i took i wrote "and in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make"(Beatles the end). I'm pretty sure that helped me with some uncertain times.

also setting is essential with high LSD doses, be sure your in a familiar loci, i wouldn't recommend the woods at night unless your comfortable with uncertainty

Just be prepared to become liquid. You will melt with things around you. You will know what i mean when the time comes. As for planning things, i wouldn't even bother. Whenever i plan things and even take a small dose of LSD, it always gets tossed aside because i want to do something else.

The only thing you can plan on is not sleeping a whole lot without the aid of something else.

But i hope you have an awesome time. How many hits are you planning on taking to get to 300-500 ug?

well first since you are aquainted with lsd that throws some good new into the batch 200-250 can give you a pretty strong trip but 500 will give you a experience to be remembered forever weather it be good or bad....andy gave you some good basic guidelines that you should follow. habitat also gave you some good advice i have done that many times on my arm i write the drug i took what time and how much but usually when im trippin i cant make out what it says and my mind fills in the gaps with some outlandish and creative shit, but it cant hurt. please also be advised which im pretty sure you are that lsd can have very unexpected results. you could be on top of the purple mountain one minute and thinkin your going to die the next......but positive mind and attitude should guide you happily through your trip......good luck

I took 4 tabs of acid that was measured around 150 a tab.

When I combined that with mdma / K presses up my nose I reached a state of unfunctionablity. I was sorta floating around the house I was in. Floating around through trails, everything was delayed or had trails it was very intense and amazing. I could not smoke a cigarettes even or put on my coat. This intensity lasted for about 3 hours. Always tell yourself that no matter how out of it you may be you will return to a normal state.

I wont be alone, I'll have another lsd fan with me who will also be dosing (although less). Thanks for all the advice so far. As far as planning I just meant make sure I have no responsibilities and had options available for the types of things I usually like to do while tripping, no itinerary or anything. The hits are about 100ug each give or take 10% (nobody is perfect) so 3-5 hits is where I'm planning on going although at the moment Im leaning heavily twords 4. It all depends how I feel tomorrow. We're going to be dropping around 3:30-4pm eastern so wish us luck. Thanks again for the advice. :smile:

Also I wanted to mention that I'll be checking this thread up to the point where I drop (and maybe until I start coming up after) so anyone who comes across it late, go ahead and leave any comments you want as well.

You're in for a hell of a ride  :smile:

LSD is probably the most beautiful experience I have ever had.  Just make sure you eat a good bit before the trip because you won't eat for a while after that... need to make sure your body has the nutrients and fuel to power you on this experience.

ya good advice on the eating bit, once that acid kicks in you'll have no appetite, which might not matter to you but your body needs thems nutrients!!!

high-dose LSD experiences will give you some of the most beautiful moments of your life, imo..

just don't let the "number" attached to your dose get into your head... don't talk yourself into a "i'm tripping tooo hard" moment.  It's still just acid.. it will end in roughly the same time period as a 200-250ug dose... it will still bring on similar effects as a lower dose, just with a few added extra flairs here and there. :wink: 

the same basic guidelines apply as a "regular" dose.. and you seem to have that all covered.. there are no other real tips.

daylight or night-time.. doesn't matter as long as you're comfortable with the time you pick and the place you are.  If you are in comfortable surroundings with at least one person available to talk to, if necessary, you will be fine.. though, i usually find that I like to just enjoy the experience over 500ug w/out much conversing... maybe 1hr of conversation spread out throughout the whole trip...

it's just tripping, man!  if you're comfortable with the experience, you're comfortable with the experience... like i said, don't let the numbers of it control your experience.. that's all up to you,

hmm...I always love eating on LSD, I appreciate food more. But I'm a nut on psychedelics so maybe you shouldn't listen to me.    :captain:

Just one bit of advice that will help you. Make sure no one you don't like is going to be around, also inversely good friends can make a great trip fantastic. Or lovers.

Woods at night on LSD equates to extremely frightening experiences for me so be warned. Damn I wish I had some acid.

i dont like eating anything when i am on ANY drug.

it always lessens the experience for me to have anything in my stomach.

ive never had lsd but im quite interested in getting some, i think i know a couple of dealers who can get it but ive no idea how much it is or what to expect for my money, any help appreceated:)

I wonder what happened with this trip.. My largest dose is currently 2 hits but I feel I didn't get the most out of it because of number of factors.. I think 5 hits is really insane, to me at least. I would say 3 would be "perfect" but everyone's different and it might also depend on what you're trying to get out of the experience... Larger hits give me more of a body load so I would make sure to have couple of advil or some heavy indica stuff to counteract around hour 8-10.
