It is kinda tough to tell because of the pictures but they could be panaeolus foenisecii, a non-psychoactive mushroom that fruits abundantly in lawns around this time of year after rains.

Ya thats probably what it was, it was just sittin there being mushroomy in the lawn, and looked pretty cool.

Hi, Thats definately Panaeolina foenisecii Maire, the correct name for that species.
