I found these in my landscaping in South Louisiana. I will note that I did put a bunch of Canadia spaghamm peat moss in my landsaping a year ago. (not sure if that is why I have these in my landscaping but i thought it was worth mentioning)
These mushrooms are a light brown/tan color. The smallest being 1/2" across and the largest being 2 1/2 - 3" across. They seem to like to grow in clumps and where they do grow in clumps they grow togeher. I also noticed a very sweet mushroomy aroma about them.
Anyone have any idea on what these are? Thanks for your time!

They do appear to be some kind of Gymnopilus, but don't take my word for it. This is not a strong point for me. Wait untill you hear from GGreatone or Mr. Mushrooms, they're our resident gym experts.

Thanks for the input! I did manage to get a spore print off of one of them and it was a chocolate brown color.
So gyms are good to eat huh?

Looks like Gymnopilus spectabilis to me. Could be wrong though. Here's a good picture for reference. Got it off of Erowid (blurry picture, though): See if everything concurs with this: Pileus Cap 7-20 cm broad, convex with incurved margin, nearly plane in age; surface dry, yellowish-orange to orange with fine brown scales; flesh thick, yellow, turning red in KOH; odor mild to pungent, taste bitter. Lamellae Gills close, adnate, notched, to slightly decurrent; yellow, becoming orange. Stipe Stipe 7-21 cm long, 1-4 cm thick, yellow-orange, lighter than the cap, streaked with brown fibrils, Pileus equal, club-shaped, or ventricose, usually narrowed at the base; partial veil membranous, yellowish, forming a usually persistent superior ring. Spores Spores 7.5-10 x 4.5-6 ?m, roughened, elliptical. Spore print rusty-orange. Habitat Fruiting from early fall to mid-winter in clusters on stumps and logs of both hardwoods and conifers.

There are no greenish tones whatsoever. The inner flesh is very yellowish. I tried to bruise it, but didnt give off any blue color.
I just went to pick a couple more to get another closer look. The medium sized ones are 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" caps and the largest had a 2 1/2" cap so i was mistaken before by giving a 2 1/2" - 3" cap size.
The gills are a medium brown color on the larger ones and yellowish on the smaller ones and the flesh is very yellowy. The stipes are very thin in comparison to the caps.
These were not growing on treebark, there isnt a tree anywhere near. These are growing on my front landscaping around my house right here in south louisiana.

I also wanted to note that some of them have a little hole in the cap right over the stipe.
