Candida Diet

I have done the spit test and am almost positive I have a candida infection. I tried to search, but I couldn't really find anything that would answer my question, so...
What diet plan do I need to follow to get rid of these little fuckers? I am totally prepared to eat nothing but vegtales for months, so please if any of you have combated this type of thing before, share.
I know sugar should be 100% gone and also carbs, but what the hell do I get my energy from. Would a keto diet be good at fighting this?
I really am at a loss here. I know some of you have fought this before because I read so in numerous threads. If you could tell me your staple foods during this that would be awsome. Lets make this THE candida information thread so for any of you that don't know: linkage

as you said, no sugar. mainly eat vegetables, fruit, leafy greens and lots of yogurt. the cultures in the yogurt help battle the candida and other bacteria and yeasts in your body. also drink lots of water. if you can handle it, drink a shot or two of raw apple cider vinegar every day. swish it in your mouth like mouthwash, and then swallow it. i drink it daily. its good for alot of things. it just takes a little getting used to.
you can also get a candida flushing kit at a health food store. that combined with the diet changes will get rid of it in a week or less.
you could also go on a water fast for 2-4 days, that will give your body time to clean up your intestinal tract and flush out the bad organisms.

I thought fruit was off limits as it contains fructose, a natural sugar. The candida thrive off sugar so idk bout fruit. I already drink apple cidar vinegar, but I read that it is bad for fighting candida. The article didn't say why, just that it was a no no. I think a water fast would be perfect. I want to do the master cleanse again, but they can live off the maple syrup in the lemonade drink. Anyone know how long they can survive without food? If I do the master cleanse to get rid of their stockpiled food, then I could do the water fast to starve them off. I will look into this.

fructose is different than sucrose. im sure limiting your fruit intake would lessen the time to flushing out the candida, but not by much.

If you do that, make sure you rinse your mouth thouroughly with water afterwards since vinegar is highly acidic and will strip the enamel off your teeth.
To be honest, I don't think there is any sure-fire candida diet but it never hurts to try.

first off, awesome link... i wish i had that about a year ago. right up until the point i made major lifestyle changes i always felt i had a candida problem but my family MD assured me i didn't, yet i had all of the signs from other websites including the infamous burning/itchy asshole... but my asshole doctor swore i didn't have it merely because i didn't have any open sores on my body... rashes just weren't good enough for that asswipe.
i went vegan pretty much over night and i didn't eat fruit because there is little difference between fructose and sucrose and the body converts between the two so i don't know where the other poster is getting there sugar info. sugar is fucking sugar as far as candida goes... i'm not sure if it is advised to not eat meat... I'd avoid grains in the form of breads too, but a standard candida diet may allow their use... i drank tons of water, try to use probiotics that contain as many as bacteria cultures as possible because there are differences between probiotics i learned later on... i used garlic out of the ass and oil of oregano. it's extremely pungent but i was mixing in salad dressing blends i made using apple cider vinegar, olive and flax seed oil... i knew i was onto something with oil of oregano when i placed a few drops on my athletes feet between my toes and the shit killed that shit quick and i mean quick... i no longer have athletes feet by the way which was a real problem in the past with constant re-occurrences. i used supplements and high quality milk thistle to clean my liver... i basically did whatever i could to boost my immune system and within a month or so the symptoms were pretty much gone.
now i'm sure there were tons of other things i could have done also so please don't short change yourself and limit it to what i did... your website seems pretty comprehensive, too bad they say things like 3 foods that will help you but don't tell you what those foods are... it seems they want to sell a book witch is cool and something you might want to consider... what's $20.00? chump change in relation to these little suckers... it's funny, not only did my new doctors say i probably had it, your test confirms it... the questionnaires that is, i didn't know about the saliva test. but i had all of the symptoms short of open sores and my doctor at the time told me there was no diet plan when i asked him what to avoid after acknowledging i knew he felt i didn't have it... i just told him I'd like to follow some sort of preventative diet and he said there is none, which i later learned was nonsense. regular MD's are clueless in my opinion, they are constantly thinking 1930's it seems to me...
did i have candida? i have no test to prove it because my MD refused to write me a script for one... but i had just about every sign when you don't need to express every sign... i just told you what i did but i'm encouraging you to look into it even further... starve it and boost your gut flora and immune system, including cleaning your liver. we need candida but we can't let it get out of control...
i hope this helps you in some way... keep us posted by updating this thread...

Include garlic in your diet. Like lots of it.
Grind some carrots and pour yogurt+garlic mix on top. Its pretty good actually and I think the garlic is hell for the bugs.

Go buy a can of chew, put it a dip and swallow your saliva/tobacco mix. That shit kills everything you may vomit if you have never chewed before, and it'll give you diarrhea, but it may work. I know it's great for parasites and worms.
