GLOVE BOX QUESTION (HEPA OR NOT TO HEPA)

Ok so heres a question for yall.....
would a glove box without a fan/filter be effective for sterile work?
couldnt u just leave a can of lysol, and some bleach solution in the box, seal it, then scrub the insides of the box with the gloves??
effectively killing everything inside, and making it safe to do fun stuff like spore prints?

im thinking a can of lysol would be plenty to rid airborn contaminants.....
but then again what the fuck do i know....

hepa filter is definetly not needed. i've heard of people constructing glove boxes out of cardboard with tape. however gettting a fan and a hepa filter is definetly a good idea if you have time/money and ambition to do it. the positive pressure in the box would def help alot with the contams.

Stamets says that most of the cheaper hepas are not worth shit, so just spray the glovebox with a mist of bleach or lysol and then begin agar work or whatever after a minute or two.

tanks a bunch fer the replys folks.... looks like ill pass on the hepa filter for now..
im just starting out... so the most ill be doin is cakes, then perhaps caseings once i get the hang of cakes/sporeprints etc.....
