when you have a guest over and all they do is text message on their phone but think they're being secret and sly about it?

I would find it rude. But my guess is it's also an age thing. I'd say age 25 and under wouldn't care but some of us older ones just don't get the excitement of texting.

Fuck that. I'm 23. If a friend comes over, and spends all their time texting.. They are no friend of mine. I know no one like this, and wouldn't want to.

i can't stand ppl on cell phones.
while driving in the checkout lane (especially when it's their turn!) while in conversation, and they answer it to leave you standing there waiting...
I'd like to stab them in ear with a pencil

Make them "not a guest" by telling them to get the fuck out.

It's better than them talking on the phone. And really it depends on if they're avoiding conversation to text. The beauty of texting is you can put the fucking thing down if yall start yackin, and pick it back up later

I'm pretty sure that's what homeboy here was talking about - yer all trying to chat with someone, and they're all zoned out with their damned phone
I'd straight up slap the shit outta someone doing that kinda crap to me

i actually had one who thought she was so slick by hiding her phone
in other rooms and then would disappear for long whiles at a time
and then come back like nothing seemed suspicious about her
absence even though I could see the whole time.
