One Giant Complex Organism

We are just a small piece of the whole eco system. Just a small piece of the whole, of all that does exist. We should go back to the basic survivals of nature and man. Find an equal balance between us and nature and live that way.
We are currently building everywhere, chopping down every forest and building mass quantities of an industrial age. In this age of being we should learn to live with nature. If we find an equalibrium in this world we will be better off.
Things i see in the distant future, maybe way past my age, is space flight. Spaceships, colonizing outerspace, landing and teraforming other planets. Our survival depends on the herd going in the right direction. It's kinda the hardest thing to manipulate the herds, well pretty easy how you see so many people in churches, praying, hoping that some entity will come back to life and bring them to heaven.
Science shall prevail and leave religion behind. Where and when this will happen, it'll be those who aren't believers will be the future generations to come.
To space we must go before this earth is uncapable of no longer holding the human race.
I'm not talking about global warming, i'm mainly talking about the size of our population that will take up for the rest of life and grow so large that we will exist in colonies on other planets.
Space travel is where it's at.
Peace, Droz

I think after 2012 we'll be fine.
-------------------- Man is timid and apologetic; he is no longer upright; he dares not say "I think," "I am," but quotes some saint or sage. He is ashamed before the blade of grass or the blowing rose.Man postpones or remembers; he does not live in the present, but with reverted eye laments the past, or, heedless of the riches that surround him, stands on tiptoe to foresee the future. He cannot be happy and strong until he too lives with nature in the present, above time TRANSCEND

Yes we are part of a giant creature - DNA!
It (we / everything) may well have already conquered the art of intergalactic procreation...

We should...
This type of statement is a total denial of current reality. Things are the way they are. Redundant, but often overlooked.
And of course, your statement is arrogant to the Nth power. Who is to say how nature 'should' unfold? YOU ARE THE ULTIMATE ARBITER OF WHAT SHOULD BE? A piece dicating to the whole? Puh-lease!
Shape your own life how you choose and flow with the rest of the river.

Some say with g*d humans will blow themselves up, some say without g*d we will do that. Maybe it's better to leave g*d out of the equation.
If we are very lucky (and 'intelligent'), we have still 5 billion years time to enter and colonize space until our sun will vaporize our sweet planet But every day, we loose more and more of our chances because of our idiocy and ignorance in so many cases (f.e. towards our environment and towards our fellow human neighbors).
And yes, I see it like the same. First we have to manage how to coexist on our planet before we were able to exist in outer space.

I dont think its denial, i think its having a vision, we're intelligent creatures, shouldn't we try and consciously shape our future?

After 2012, betcha there would be more sex-help books on how to activate sex energy center, putting the energy into your orgasms, blah..blah..;)

No no. As an aware observer of the (already so obvious market) I would have to say that there will be resentments and blaming books that sound like "How to heal yourself after the aliens turned their backs on you"

I think so too.
When those who matter have their third eyes open and link to Universal Consciousness the right actions will be taken to restore balance to this planet.
Hear clearly with your eyes, this very place we are is a manifestation of that consciousness. The internet is a portal to our third eye.

some of us won't even have orgasms after 2012 which is a damn shame altogether (aging).
personally I am trying to have extra ones now just in case I run out.
as for being space and out-ward oriented, I think this is a natural option so is being in-ward oriented
and the bit about all being part of one organism appealed to me I have always been fascinated with cells and organisms as well as sex and orgasms
