Same question, different circumstances?

I know there have been plenty of people who ask how long weed stays in your system, etc etc, but I guess I have that same question, but this time it involves more variables that just how long ive smoked.
For the past 6 mo, ive been smoking pot daily (multiple times per day), but now need to quit because of an upcoming drug test for the Navy. I understand that its fat soluable and can be stored in your fat for a while, but since about a mo and a half ago i began running, dieting, working out, etc and losing weight (a lil over 20 lbs by now), but continued to smoke daily. I am quitting today so sad, but i know i have to. Will the increase in my metabolism, as well as the decrease in overall fat substantially decrease the amount of time i have to wait until the drug test? Or am I just wishful thinking?
My research has been that in regular heavy users, it can be up to 45-90 days. I guess im just hoping that Itll be less for me since I think the test will be kinda soonish... anyone have any opinions on this?

Is the test urine, hair, blood, or mouth swab?

My body I will give to pleasures, to diversions that I’ve dreamed of, to the most daring erotic desires, to the lustful impulses of my blood, without any fear at all, for whenever I will— and I will have the will, strengthened as I’ll be with contemplation and study— at the crucial moments I’ll recover my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

Ahh, ok.
I remember one time I took a few bowl hits the night before a urine test. A few days later I got a cryptic phone message that sounded exactly like the guy who was in charge of the clinic I was going to (result of alcohol + cannabis citations). I was completely freaking out, but I *69ed it and it was an advertising agency. (Poinltess story, I realize )
If you drink a lot of water the day before the test, you should be fine even if you are a regular smoker, bottom line. Cranberry juice helps big time. People say fasting a day helps but this probably isn't true because fasting actually lets your body store fat more efficiently, and fat is where all those cannabinoids are stored. Doing some serious sweat-inducing exercise every day will be a plus, and eating low-fat foods. You could also try buying a cleansing kit online.
This is all rather generic but it's what works. You want to have watery piss and you want to have flushed your system pretty thoroughly before the test.

Yes it can be upwards of a 45 days, it is possible..
BUT, that has rarely happened in my case. Even heavy smoking i manage to be clear within a month, usually within 3 weeks.
If you knew the exact date of the test it would be easier to come up with a way to aid in helping out your system.
