help me decide on a blacklight
    #7448264 -

alright well i can get one blacklight off of this sight. my budget is under $45.

http://www.blacklight.com/blacklight/Items!OpenView&Start=11&RestrictToCategory=Blacklite%20Bulbs

I would like to get one of the LED bulbs, but do those make things fluoresce? I dont know if they work or not. i know that the fluorescent bulbs work (obviously).

I dunno which one to get. Do the compact fluorescents work as well as the tube blacklights? How do they compare?

I dont really wanna get one of the huge blacklights because of their size, and because they are so hard to transport, and the shipping cost will probably rape me up the ass.

So does anyone have any knowledge on the subject of blacklights and which ones are good and which are not?

Any suggestions/info/product critiques would be immensely appreciated.

dude

go to walmart, or any hardware store.

purchase a 4' dual flourescent bulb fixture (the kind you often see in garages, work shops, etc....even above some pool tables).

you can find em for 8-10 bucks.

then buy two 4' black light bulbs. At walmart theyre 11 dollars each.

for 30-35 bucks you get a 4' dual black light.
and you wont have to pay shipping.

yeah, go to the hardware store and they have pre-assembled blacklight fixtures that are always half of what the same thing costs at a head shop or a Spencer's.

Once you exercise this freedom you've lost all control over what you do, what is produced, and how it is produced. And in the end, the product doesn't belong to you. The only way you can avoid bosses and jobs is if you don't care about making a living. Which leads to the second freedom: the freedom to starve."
