I know some of you edit music, whats a good program.
    #7382299 - 09/08/07 01:28 AM (16 years, 4 months ago)

I recently started recording some music via me playing guitar, and have also tried making some beats for it via fruity loops, and have also been trying to record an online radio show. What I want to know is what is a good program to edit all these sounds in?

I have been using adobe premier but that is more for video and so it makes getting the timing correct more guess and check than anything.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Will it allow me to isolate a portion of a very long mp3? I tried to do that by converting the mp3 to a .wav file and then taking it to the sound recorder but it wouldn't allow me to because I don't have enough memory. I forget why though.

I'd go with Audacity or Sony Soundforge.

A free one I use is "WavePad"

You can record, edit, convert, etc...

It's great!
