sterilizing an incubator and grow chamber?

say i'm using a cooler and tank heater for the incubator..... how should i... or should i sterilize it? and what should i do for my rubbermaids with perlite?

just wipe them down with rubbing alcohol...that should do the trick.....you could put peroxide in the h2o with the heater too is you wish...

To be safe just wipe everything down with isopropyl alchohol.

bleach water works good also and or 409 spray use quite a bit but costs more .

I use bleach and I also give it a good spray with lysol just to be sure.
