What did you do to correct your high humidity problem? Take the lid off earlier or what?

I've followed Wizard's tek to a T and have gotten lots of myc. growth until about day 5 (covered in tupperware), then remove the lid and I'm bombarded with cobweb mold (which I blast with peroxide) and then lots of green mold. Wish I could get casing right cause I know it's the way to go.

jerry95: I cased using a store bought Potting Soil mixture that consists of peat moss, vermiculite, perlite, and lime. I've yet to fruit cakes (I'm a newbie), but from what I understand, casing provides larger and more flushes.

GorgeousTortoise: Humidity control is my largest stumbling block. I'm using a large Rubbermaid bin with perlite that I fan out 2-3 times a day.

AnubisRonin: Thanks for the suggestion on picking them before the vail breaks. When I checked them on day 4, none were open, but the next day they had all opened. The spores are from the Spore Chicks, btw.
