Thor, ..... BlueHoney said she would be our new spokeswoman for our mushrooms pictures. Were flying her to the farm to pose nude near our crops. You can all buy the calander next year :)-

This is of the same one as it was growing . My friend hated to pick this one as well.

Those mushrooms might be plump but not the honey. "I like em real big and juicy" (a quote from the loveable sir mix alot); super big fine; in otherwords grotesquely fat.
That was a big post! But I have one Q. Where is the perlite? Or was the compost in another container inside the rubbermaid ontop of the perlite?
How much compost did you use (in lbs)?

The compost was in a smaller container inside the larger one. The larger one had two inches of perlite in it which the smaller ones rested on. Probally about 1/4 pound. Not alot at all.
