Sammy Sosa's 600th Homerun...

I have to admit, before all of the steroid stuff, I was a huge fan of Sosa. I was rooting for him to beat McGuire that year. He is one cocky mother fucker, but if you look at his history, he has a right to be cocky with all that he has overcome and accomplished.

It was kinda neat seeing him come out of retirement, then hit his 600th against the cubbies. It's sad how so many of the great players from his hayday have had their name tarnished. There were some great players in their prime back then.

I was flipping through the MLB package and looking at my fantasy stattracker last night when I saw "Sosa homered" written on it. I flipped to the Rangers/Cubs game and felt great for the guy. That was something special.
